other than marry one,,

used pliers for years to turn timer on my clothes dryer

 used duct tape to hold up trim  on house that was falling off

oh! also usedduct tape to fix a pair of shoes

 

...well let's see, I once used a bait bucket as a rest stop,

I once used the foil on a gum wrapper as a fuse in my car so I'd have windshield wipers,

I knew someone who screwed their car seat to a couple of 2x4's to keep it from falling through the floorboard... and that was the driver's side! (franny, you may know who that is)

used duck tape to fix my dads front end bumper to hold it on
